Crosscountry
I run crosscountry for Livonia Stevenson Highschool. I did run in my middle school but that was nothing like highschool running. I am a freshman so i was new to the whole thing. We started practicing"conditioning" on like June 18 and ran Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays at 8 a.m. Are first meet was about a week before school started and we did okay then once school started we started really doing some hard practicing everyday except for sundays we have either a meet or practice. Usually the meets are on tuesdays at Cass Benton in a section of Hines Park and on the weekends they could be anywhere. Cass is actually one of the hardest courses in the state, theres about 3 big hills and you have to go up each one 2 times and trust me when i tell you the second time is like torture. But wow last saturday we seriously ran at the easisest course maybe in the world it was like a middle school course;it was completely flat. The hardest part of the whole course was like a little pile of mud, that should give you an idea of how flat this really was. Oh now just a little bit of some facts about are team so far we have had three different coaches at some point this season and the one we have now ran for i think MSU or UofM but anyways he was like a big ten champion twice and was a two time all american oh and he coached olympians. We are on okay team but were defintely not the best are jv is actually pretty good we have won like 2 races and came in 3rd in another one. And we do have some really good runners on varsity to like really good i couldnt even dream of running some of their times. But my prediction is in like 2 more seasons when im a junior and are sophmores now are seniors we will be a solid team. Right now 4 of are varsity guys are either sophmores or freshman and thats out of 7 guys, so the odds are in are favor right now.
